Hi Milla, I just wanted to mention that the outfit combinations you've been putting together are really impressive. Honestly, they seem to complement you even more than some of the full Sezane outfits you've worn in the past. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it feels like the classy, cool, and edgy looks suit you better than the overly romantic Sezane styles, and I mean that as a compliment. Keep up the great work!

Ahh thank you so much! A true compliment 🌺 It took me a long time to figure out my style (I’m still in the process haha), but I think after trying so many clothes from Sezane, there was a moment it became clearer to me. Also, some videos I shared in the past were just Sezane reviews (not quite clothes from my actual wardrobe). I’ll start sharing more videos of what I actually wear in “real life” 🤗 Thank you so much again! Hope you have a beautiful Sunday!

Hi Mila! Love your take on the capsule wardrobe! Usually they are all the same, so yours is a breath of fresh air! And you're absolutely right that it depends on one's lifestyle. Most of them are far too elegant for my everyday life, but yours has a bit of both. Could you link your beautiful teal dress with the pockets, please! Thank you!

I am so glad you enjoyed this video! Thank you so much for the feedback :) That was exactly my goal - to build a collection that would have some elegant pieces but also casual and practical ones. I was happy to add some colors too after a pretty grey winter haha As for the links, so sorry! I totally forgot to add the dresses. I updated the description box already, but here's the black one (Sezane) seza.ne/QWXX3R87Ep and the teal (only available in the US) quince.sjv.io/LXN77Y

Nice, thanks. I never wear denim, though, I hate it. If I had to, I would wear bright white jeans, I think they’re much more chic than faded blue jeans.
@milainnewyork5 ай бұрын
Haha I love white jeans too, they’re great for spring and summer! I don’t wear jeans daily (never for work actually), but I love having a few good pairs in my wardrobe. They always come handy! I’ve been really into trousers lately, but with the warm weather approaching, I’ll start wearing dresses, skirts and shorts again! 🌼🌼🌼 have a lovely night, Kimberly!

Thanks again Mila, great outfit ideas! Reminded me of the fact that I have a navy blazer and a blue button down shirt in my wardrobe 🙂. Paired them with a darkwash levi's flared jeans and chocolate brown ankle boots today. (still too cold for slingbacks here in the Netherlands). By the way I love the other brands you introduce, besides Sézane. I wasn't familiar with Liliysilk but looks amazing and they ship to Europe, yay!

Hi Mila, I meanwhile received the Oasis pants. For customers in Germany DO NOT order from Lily Silk. I ordered the pants, scrunchies and a cashmere sweater. On day one my credit card got charged. First order arrived after 3 weeks! The sweater is not even shipped yet. I need to say that the material of the pants is awesome, however, I am 1.68 m and I have to roll the elastic waist band twice, so that it does not end up under my bra. I sized down to M, I am a German size 40 in pants. Wish I would have ordered L. After the drama with the shipping I will keep them and put them on a waist stretcher. Not ideal so, even on sale they were 153 EUR. Tschau Petra

“I’m never gonna tell you need a button shirt or t-shirt. I’m gonna tell you need a cashmere sweater” lol
@milainnewyork5 ай бұрын
A cashmere sweater is for warmth, not just for aesthetics 🤪 unless the place you live is summer all year round, you will eventually need some kind of knit to keep you warm - cashmere is the best for its quality and warmth properties! Also this is an answer to most influencers that push these 2 specific pieces to everyone. A button down shirt, T-shirt and other tops are totally replaceable by a style you simply like more or flatters you better 😉 Hope this explains it lol
@svetlanadreher71905 ай бұрын
@@milainnewyork Sure. On the same note, if you don't live in a place where it's always cold (like freaking north of Russia) you will eventually need a light layer which is a t-shirt or a button down or a tank top (not much choice outside those options there). A cashmere sweater also has alternatives like regular wool sweater or thick sweatshirt or even acrylic if one is allergic to wool... So it IS partially aesthetics. And cashmere sweater in 99% cases IS being pushed alongside button downs and t-shirts and trousers and white sneakers... So it's not really an explanation. I just find it funny how fashion and style influencers sometimes say the same thing so many times that they don't realize it contradicts or just becomes moot. But I watch too much KZbin and maybe nobody else is listening as attentively lol

@@svetlanadreher7190 girl I see your point, but I’m from Brazil, a very hot place and I never in my life wore either a T-shirt or a button down shirt. I’m not exaggerating, I just never liked them until recently and I’m partial to tees. In a hot place, you have several options besides these 2: spaghetti strap, tank top, tube tops, bustier, vests, dresses, there’s just countless options. i don’t know if you’re familiar with kibbe body type, but I think it’s a super interesting concept. Tee-shirts are not flattering on everyone, same for button down shirts, even if you pick a specific model. A cashmere knit will work for any body type, just pick the color and the cut, if turtleneck, crew, V neck.. it will add warmth and it’s practical and convenient, this is just way deeper than just aesthetics. Yes there are other wool knits, but my recommendation was cashmere in this video. You don’t have to wear one if you don’t like though! I own over 60 knits in multiple blends and styles, I live in them since I’m in New York and it’s cold most of the year. Honestly, I don’t understand the hate here or the comparison to other KZbinrs, I took the time to make the video, edit, with the intention to help others who struggle with capsule wardrobe. I’m sorry that’s all you could take out of it. Hope you find the perfect video for your life style!

Hi Mila, is the denim vest fitted or do you have room.
@milainnewyork5 ай бұрын
Hi my dear ❤ I don’t have much room around my chest, it is fitted. I think the M would have been too loose, the S is perfect but I can only wear a thin knit or lightweight shirt underneath.

Love the pairings but I think I just don't understand capsule wardrobes 🤣. Like, do you only wear those items? for how long? what do you do with the rest of your clothes? put them in storage? why not wear other things? Silly yeah, but these are questions I've always wondered..... 😝
@milainnewyork4 ай бұрын
Haha your questions are totally legit 🤣 if you ask me, I could never live with a small capsule wardrobe. I did the video to help those who like the idea, it’s been trending for a while on social media (mostly from minimalist accounts, people who wanted to downsize their closet or simply make more mindful purchases). While I love the idea to be mindful about what I buy (picking good quality and timeless pieces), I love my closet so much and wouldn’t be able to live with just a few pieces to mix and match. Essentially, people who embrace the capsule wardrobe concept, either own very few pieces or are trying to downsize. I think it’s also helpful to those who travel so they can pack light! You can do with 30-40 pieces per season, which to me seems more reasonable. I did with much less in this video because it had to be short! 🌼🌼🌼

Hi Mila, I am looking for Emile cardigan in yellow but it’s not available on my app, does it mean I can purchase in the store?
@milainnewyork5 ай бұрын
Hi! It’s not available on the app for me either, but I saw it a few days ago and shared the link on my Instagram. They had it in the NYC store last week, I saw a few. I don’t think all stores carry them though, it launched months ago so it’s possible that it has sold out or they have just a few pieces left
