around 6:24 I was trying to use the "Direct select tool" to delete the lines but it didn't work. I double clicked the Lines and the Erase tool worked for me. I'm willing to accept any feedback. Please continue to make awesome content like this :)

Try clicking the line once and start deleting the anchor points until you get the line that you like, hope this helps and GL

Try carefully selecting the shape at the edge. make sure to "release compound path" first

Thanks for asking that question.. you Gotta make sure that you outline your strokes first. Select them all and merge them using the pathfinder panel
