So this is the technique. Now the art is finding the gems in the samples. Cut'em at the right places. Tweak'n'use'em in an interesting manner. Not so easy to me but I'm experimenting. I love vocal chops and I was waiting for such a video. Big thanks.

I really got a lot out of this. I have GA5, but I rarely use it because I prefer other tools for drums. But today in my session I tried it with some vocal chopping and you're right-it's a total blast! What I really love about it is that it's not just Cubase-centric (though I use and love Cubase). I was using in in Ableton today.

Great idea about automating the sample start on the sampler track. Also, in the MIDI Effects for GASE, the MIDI Delay is very cool. For a vocal chop it might be better than the drum rudiments. Great stuff, thank you. :-) (Cubase Pro 10.0.4)
