Thats a pretty useful tip. Personally I use the fancy texture brushes for hot and cold press paper I got from the maxpack watercolour brush set.

@estoton00363 жыл бұрын
@@a.salem2386 quite simple im not interested in creating brushes or textures so I pay someone who makes good ones so I can use my time for creating art instead.

Love this , thank you :) Whilst doing it I realised you can also adjust the background colour instead of changing the colour of the soft pastel to give a warmer feel to the background.

what are the most pigmented watercolors for the Daniel Smith brand?
@teohyc3 жыл бұрын
They are all quite pigmented, except for Lapis Lazuli
@CozyCreates3 жыл бұрын
Hey just got Daniel Smith watercolors and was wondering how long do they take to dry in a half pans. And do you prefer to have a limited amount of colors for mixing your own colors or having the convinced colors?
@teohyc3 жыл бұрын
How fast it dries completely will depend on the humidity in your area. Try to pour in three separate sessions because some paint will shrink, and then you can squeeze into the gaps in subsequent pours. To dry the paint faster, put the pans in a closed box under the sun

How can I make it, so the texture affects ONLY what I've painted, but leaves out the white canvas parts, with no coulour on it, yet?
@teohyc2 жыл бұрын
There is definitely a way but I’m not sure of the fastest way. Duplicate all layers with paint and merge them, then create an alpha mask to paint the texture. But there there are changes to the art you have to redo the texture again
