Thanks! The tutorial is still working, but don't forget to disable Windows Update, I believe that's the reason why RDP access doesn't work after 1 ~ 2 days. I've been using mine for 3 days now and it's working great. If any of you have questions, feel free to ask

Thanks for easy tutorial. I'm facing some issues after creating rdp. My rdp works 2 days in Remote desktop connection after that 2 days rdp works OK in droplets but shows error in remote desktop connection in my personal system. I have done all settings in rdp to allow remote desktop but facing the same issue. Please give me any solution Thanks

Thanks! But any idea on how to fix the mouse? The pointer is usually set a few inches away from the computers pointer, which makes it extremely hard/impossible to do anything you can't do with a keyboard? Edit: The way you showed with connecting to the internet isn't working either

The mouse step is very difficult but there is no solution for it. Do it slowly and keep trying, it will happen.

Install Windows 2022 image, you will have to step IPv4 in it and there will be no need to update Windows, direct RDP will be connected.

"Linode Glish / DigitalOcean Console Ctrl ALT Delete Alternative Solution" I turned on windows firewall as in this video. Then I opened the inbound rules and outbound rules. I have enabled everything related to remote, sound, media player. I then restarted the computer. Before starting these processes, I connected with team viewer.

First is to change password of windows after installation. Otherwise someone who provided windows file will get control and change your rdp password

This is due to licensing requirements and constraints imposed by Microsoft on infrastructure providers such as DigitalOcean.". So is it fine to create windows vm as per your steps?
