Thanks for the great presentation! I purchased the A6 dies for yellow flag terminals but my terminals are too big to lie flat in the die, making it impossible to crimp. Any ideas?

I suppose you could try a different brand of crimp. Thank you for watching

Good day eh!! That is a nice crimper and if you are doing these types of connectors, it sure is a necessity eh!! It works good. Thanks for sharing and take care!!!

It sure is is Mike. You could grind down a pair of channel locks, but lining up on the right spot is difficult. I will post a few more videos on crimping with this tool over the next few weeks. Thank you for popping by and watching the video.

Very informative video. I wish I would have seen this video before I bought 4 different crimpers that this kit can do with one crimper and different dies!

I am glad it was of help. Mine only came with 5 dies, and I have reviewed them all. There are more dies you can add. Thank you for watching.

Good video. But FYI, a Spade Terminal is a two-prong fork shaped terminal. These are called Disconnects or Quick Disconnects.
@IrishChippy2 ай бұрын
Correct, but the quick connects are generally called spades two, whether correct or not. Some refer to the two prong as a fork, as it mimics a two prong fork (for hay), and a flat one prong as a garden spade. Do not lose too much sleep over it. Thank you for watching

Any suggestions for non-insulated flag terminals?

I looked around and there does not seem to be much demand for one. I found this amzn.to/3XnTm7I & this amzn.to/3QxbVnJ Thank you for watching

FYI. I have yet to find yellow flags that fit the A6 crimping die that comes with the Wirefy crimping kit. All of the yellow flags (I've tried three brands so far) are simply too wide (the flag portion is too long) so they don't sit flat in the die.

I am overseas atm so am not sure what A6 is. The larger flag crimp size needs a separate bigger die, that I am pretty sure.

Can you show how to crimp the yellow flag crimp connectors?
@IrishChippy2 жыл бұрын
I did not buy the die set for yellow flags. Because they take up so much room in the jaws, there is a separate die set for yellow. Sorry about that. The yellow wirefy flag die is not available atm, but the tcr fits and is available here: amzn.to/3avJAOo

I wouldn't call buying a special crimper "the easy way" but I'll leave you a comment anyway.
