Depends on the yarn and hook you’re using. I recommend measuring it out.

Hi! It’s to close the gap - if i worked one DC only it will leave a noticeable hole. Hope that helps!

Hello! Once you’re done with the crochet piece and it is as big as the face of your pillow case, then you start sewing it into the pillow case as demonstrated in the video.
