I love your honest video! I have been crocheting 50+ years and even for me it was a little more challenging working with netting. It doesn't come out as 'smooth' and 'perfect' as with yarn and it is nice that you show that. If I were a beginner I would be encouraged by your video and not frustrated. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. THANK YOU.

But I doubled the netting up with either t- shirt yarn or sheet yarn (if you do not know what this is, look up a lady called Erin Halvorsen whom also makes rag rugs. She has got tutorials on this... They might also sell well at your Craft Fairs! 😀 & Thank you again for this scrubby! 😋 Erica x.

I love to watch you. Have you twisted this netting to make it more narrow?
@angiec3637 жыл бұрын
I keep trying these, but mine look messy. The mesh sticks out? It's not as tight. I can't explain it, but is there a trick to it? Do you twist the mesh before wrapping around hook? Yours look lovely, mine looks like a dogs breakfast! ;) Thanks!
@CreativeGrandma7 жыл бұрын
Hello Angie, sorry you are having trouble wish I could be there to see what you maybe doing wrong. I do kind of twist the netting as I crochet so it kinds of rolls into itself if that makes sense to you, just do not pull tight on the netting or it will tear. I kind of twist just a little bit a few inches at a time as I crochet. Please let me know how you make out.

It sounds like you do not have enough stitches and it is curving it like bowl, so i would add a few extra stitches evenly spaced until it flattens down, I hope that helps.
