I love this snowflake! I learned to crochet a year ago, and this was the first snowflake I made. This year I pulled out my Christmas decorations, and there was this beautiful snowflake. It took me a while to find you again (saved this time!), but I found you and are making a bunch for gifts and to hang on my garland this year. One thing I'm doing is that instead of tying off and cutting, I'm making 20 chains and looping back and slip stitching into the last sc. This makes a pretty loop for hanging. Thanks for this very well done tutorial of my favorite snowflake ever!

I really like the puff stitch center as I had not used that stitch too often. I made a few changes by taking a tuck (crocheting two stitches together) in the center of each single crochet stretch in the last round to make the points stick out a little more and made the loops on the points of a 4 stitch picot, a 6 stitch picot & a 4 stitch picot instead of 4 , 6 stitch loops. Just my preference from making lots of crocheted snowflakes. Thanks for the ideas.
