Hi Tiffany, thank you so much for this great idea! Can’t wait for more spa ideas to go with it. I just happened to have the scrubby polyester yarn on hand. Do you think that will work or will it be too scratchy.

Hmm, not sure off the top of my head. What you can do is crochet a square with it, then rub it against the outside of your hand to see what it would feel like. You want the feel to be slightly scratchy but not like sand paper. If you would use it then other people would most like also use it. 😊🧶🧡

Love this idea! Just wondering if you know anyone with sensitive skin that has tried these? I have eczema, so im constantly on the look out for something that's a gentle exfoliator.

Hi Riley! Honestly I have not had anyone with sensitive skin try these. The scratchy material of the scrubby cotton yarn is on the softer side but that is just from my perspective. You may feel differently. What I would suggest is if you are able to find this yarn at your craft store rub the skein across your forearm with the same pressure you would on your face and see what you think. If the scrubby yarn is too rough for you then I would suggest going with a normal cotton yarn. You can use this same pattern and make a soft version of the Spa Facial Scrubby that will work best for you. Thank you so much for asking this question. 😊🧡🧶

Hi Kimberly! Actually I do! You can make approximately 18 scrubbies with one skein of yarn. It all depends on your tension and how much yarn actually made it in the skein of yarn. They can vary by a couple inches in each skein. Great question! Thank you for asking. 😊🧡🧶

Hi Jennifer! That is a great question! You should get approximately 18 facial scrubs from one skein of Red Heart Scrubby Cotton. I say approximately because depending on how much yarn you leave for a tail to weave back into the work and depending on the exact amount of yarn made it in the skein you should get this many facial scrubs from one skein.
