The most amazing thing about this technique is, unlike most two color squares, it doesn't involve carrying the aecond color and working alternate color stitches over it. In this way the colors are kept sharp and clean. Love ❤️ this! Thank you bunches.

Thank you, Marly, for this video. I am trying to learn how to make a ribbon star pattern in crochet and need to be able to make a two color solid granny square. Other tutorials are good but the technique was not shown as clearly as in your video. And the way you explained what you were doing was fantastic! Another thing I learned was the proper way to weave in my ends. I have always woven in my ends under several stitches and I go back and forth three to four times but it leaves such an ugly lump. I was never told to catch parts of the fiber of the stitches to secure the end. Now my woven in ends will look just as good as the other stitches. No more ugly lumps!!! Thank you so much for helping me to improve my crocheting technique. You're the best!

Can I use a magic knot to cut down on ends?
@mariolapopilowska34502 жыл бұрын
I think you can only one tricky is from magic ring you cant controlled easy tension of the middle. You can do it very tight all or try adjust and not always come up this same. 3 chains on begining make perfect middle each time. :)

;; lol that hook doesn’t look very comfortable. That’s like a pretty decorative hook you put in the jar on your table in the living room to make people think ur organized but really all your yarn and hooks is in bins boxes and piles in your bedroom and you’ve been sleeping on the couch for a year because there’s no room. ):
