I have never seen anyone go through every detail as you. I have been crocheting for over 15 to 20 years. And you’re the best I’ve ever seen. I like the way you have the camera set to see each stitch you never see that with anybody else. I will continually be using your patterns every time. Thank you so much.

Excellent teacher!!! Very well explained and good closeups. Best crochet video I have seen so far. Can’t wait to finish the cardigan and see more of your videos. With a lot of the videos I’ve followed, it doesn’t matter how many times I follow the pattern, my count of stitches has gone wrong as the rows go on. I’m sure I couldn’t be wrong that many times. With your videos my work is exactly right and the correct amount of stitches. Great teacher and nice calm voice X

I am very much a beginner in crochet having only crocheted a simple baby blanket and flower embellishments for baby girl hats. Your videos are very clear - and I find it very helpful that you explain when the turning chains are to be considered as stitches and do a stitch count at the end of rows. I would like to attempt this cute cardigan and would be very grateful if you could advise roughly how many balls of this yarn I would require in order to do the striped version in the 3rd size. While I wouldn't mind having too much yarn as I could attempt matching bootees I would hate not to have enough. Thank you so much for sharing yiur expertise.
@woolywonderscrochet75869 жыл бұрын
HI +Loraine Lindsay , thank you very much! I used to get confused with turning chains when I was a beginner so always try to explain them in my tutorials. I would say to order 3 balls in each colour. I used 2 balls of each colour when using a 5mm hook but if you don't mind having extra I would go for 3 x

Can I continue till I get to the 3 dc together bit or do a couple of stitch reductions at the beginning of the round so I only I have 21 stitches. Thanks xx

Hello WoolyWonders....I am as I type this working on making a sweater following you. Its for my granddaughter she just turned 2yrs old and I is 29 lbs very petite. I just measured her back and arm length. It measured to waist at 11 1/2 and her arms measure 12"....I tried the almost finished sweater on her and she don't have a lot of room in the sleeves it just fit. I was wondering should I add a few more stitches when making the back to create the sleeves? I am fairly new to this as far as making clothes for toddlers. I love the way you insist on counting our stitches I can follow along well with this. I appreciate that and you taking the time to do so. Happy New Year....2017

Hi +Natasha Habig , thank you very much! I would say to use a 9.5mm crochet hook. Alternatively you could use an 8mm hook and chain an extra 6 stitches at the beginning and then when it comes to round 8 - skip an extra stitch for each armhole and the work 2 extra 2dc for the back and 1 extra dc for each side of the front. You would then also have to add an extra stitch for each sleeve. It is probably a lot easier to just go up crochet hook size! I hope this helps, thank you for watching x
