Hi. I am new at this and at round 2, when you say add add 6 slip stiches around randomly, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you doing 2 hdc in 6 stitches or are literally just adding 6 slip stitches anywhere? The video was moving fast so I cannot tell what you were actually stitching as you were counting ... that's one, two, three, etc six.

maybe my stitches are just too tight, because I've done the beginning strip twice, with the same size yarn, once with a 4.25 G hook, and again with a 5.5 I hook, and there's absolutely no way it's the right size. It's the size of a bracelet. this is so frustrating.

I have increased it's size, not by the no. Of rows r stitches count but by measuring it with scale.. i have done the belt of 20inches length(this will be the pant size) thn joined with 6sc n cntnd the pattern as shown

Like the pattern but would be nice to hear an explanation that you grabbed extra yarn at start that worked into round 2. Also, would have liked to seen the first 34 cdc worked slower as there are slightly different holes that could be worked into. Thanks for sharing your pattern!

Hi Brandie, it's just basically add 6 hdc in round 2 (random placement). Round 1 : 34 hdc round 2 : 40 hdc (fter adding 6 extra sts)
