Hi there, I used 8ply yarn for the booties (yarn #3); yours is way too fine, I suggest you get a thicker yarn, otherwise it won’t hold its shape.

Hi there, The booties are made for 0-3 months. It’s important to pay attention to your tension, your sole was 2cm smaller/shorter which was a big difference. You could try by using hdc instead of sc. Good luck

My apologies. It was 34 sts on the 1st round. When working on the back of the booties, if you had more than 12 sts it could be a mistake somewhere while doing the front part.

You don’t really explain how to end the row after the puff stitches. For the following rows , I’m assuming I slip stitch two after ? and the little stars *…* don’t help why not just put “puff stitch” . Very confusing for a beginner

I can’t explain it all here. A Few things you could try such as measuring your child’s foot length, appx.14cm for 18-24 month. You can try this with a bigger hook (4.00mm), change sc stitches into hdc instead .Just play with different numbers of foundation chain. The rest is follow the principle of pattern

You can either use bigger hook (2.5mm) or increase foundation chain (chain 15/16) and follow the principle of the pattern. FYI: 3-6 (6-9, 9-12) month: sole length appx 10 (11, 12)cm
