Thanks for the tutorial, I just finished this bag in three days working on it all day long😮‍💨 Actually this is my first project after not crocheting for 10 years😅

HEART GRANNY SQUARE (MAKE 12) With A, make an MC Round 1. Ch 3 (count as 1st DC), 2 DC into MR, (ch 2, 3 DC) x3, ch2, close circle, sl st to end round Round 2. Sl st into the next st [sl st into this stitch later], 8 DC in first corner, ch 1, 1 sc in the second corner, ch 1, skip 1 st, 2 SC into same st, ch 1[mark back loop of this st], 2 SC into the same st [the one before], ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 SC in third corner, ch 1, 8 DC in the fourth corner, sl st to end round Leave the loop from the last sl st loose, remove crochet hook, turn to the back of the heart shape, grab the loop to the back, chain 1, cut and secure yarn With B Round 3. Work this round blo only. Make a slip knot, 1 sc in the st after the stitch marker, 1 HDC, 1 DC, ch 2, 1 DC, 1 HDC, 5 SC, ch 2, 3 SC, 1 HDC in the sl st (full stitch, no blo), 3 SC, ch 2, 5 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC, ch 2, 1 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC, sl st to end the round Round 4. Ch 3 (count as 1st DC), 3 DC, 2 DC in the first corner, Ch 2, 2 DC into the first corner, 7 DC, 2 DC into second corner, ch 2, 2 DC into second corner, 7 DC, 2 DC into the third corner, ch 2, 2 DC into the third corner, 7 DC, 2 DC into the fourth corner, ch 2, 2 DC into the fourth corner, 3 DC, sl st to end round, cut and secure yarn for my own reference :)

I finnaly finnished this piece and it turned out SO PRETTY !!! I had to make small adjustments tho because i had to use a thinner acrylic yarn. My squares turned out so small with this pattern so i looked up a bigger version and it worked just the same when assembling! I made the strap 2 stitches wider too and those triangel things also a little wider! Those are good tips if you also struggle with the size when making it with thinner yarn yourself but i definetly recommend this cute pattern ❤️

@@alizeelaurent7033 Sorry for the late reply! I just used some from my local drugstore, like the random, cheap one! Its 2mm wide and costed like 1,50€. Obviously thinner than whats used in the video therefore the adjustments

Thank you for this. Also for putting the CM measurements in the information box, my strap (a different yarn from the rest) was too short at the stitch count and whew, it was nice to be able to measure and discover how much more I needed to stitch.

Thank you for the tutorial! However, i find it a bit annoying that you didn't point out how many meters/yards the yarn is, so i made it by guessing the yarn size. I used Alize cotton gold 100g/330m. The granny squares ended up being 7.5cm by 7.5cm. Overall easy to follow, it took me 14h from start to finish (counting only time when i was crocheting). Keep in mind i am not a beginner and i crochet average speed.

try and make sure your tension is the same all throughout and make sure you’re connecting them through the whole stitch, not just one thread of yarn! that should help :)
