I started crocheting in the back bump once just on accident and continued, found I love my starting chain that way, more sturdy and straight. Thank you for this extra tips. As always love your work. Since I have had many back and neck surgerys, all the hardwear in my body at my young age of 51 , I am always chilly, I make your wraps, oh how I love your wraps. keeps me warm and cozy, not to mention, crocheting in itself is very theraputic. .. keep up the great work. Take care, Sincerly Frances

I actually prefer working into the back bump myself. I just think it gives it a cleaner edge. But I will crochet either way.

Do you have to crochet super loose to work the back ridge? Im having the worst time figuring this out. Having to use two hands to pull the hook through. Is it really this difficult?

What size hook are you using? I know that is the same type of yarn I have at home.

It looks like you actually skip the first bump, or am I just imagining things. Maybe that is what I was doing wrong.
