Thank you for this tutorial. I have several skeins of variegated yarn that I thought was pretty in the skeins but when I tried to work it in different projects I never liked the way it would work up and I would end up pulling it apart. I realized that I couldn’t see the stitches properly because of the constantly changing colors, just as you mentioned. This lace pattern may just be the right project for that yarn. It’s worth a try, at least. Thank you again for the tutorial.

I made this into a scarf using 3 yarn with 8 mm hook. I only used 27 chains. It made a very light and soft scarf. In fact it turned out so nice, I'm making another one.
