Crochet very quick and easy slippers. This is a great gift for friends and family. I used 2 strands of medium (#4) yarn and 6 mm crochet hook. Instead of 2 strands you can use bulky yarn, I just wanted to make slippers in 2 colors. Finished size is women's size 37-39 (US size 7-8). Have fun! Feel free to comment, or share your pics.

Very easy to follow. I thought they were very narrow, so I added another round of increase stitches to make 28 stitches. They were also very short for a 7/8 so I added ties until I got to number I needed. Not sure how many.

Hi I’m making these for a friend who is a size 8 however she lives in a different city. It would be very helpful if can you tell me the length of your shoe from toe to ankle portion and ankle to heel portion in inches or centimetres. I tried to google but everyone mentions only the entire shoe length. Awaiting your help. Many thanks 🙏

Is there any way to extend the shoes into socks? Want to make men size 11. Just not sure where to increase or how much. From toes to top of foot is 7" and the widest part of his foot over the top of foot is 6.5". The length of his foot is 11" Just wondering if you could give me an idea more less. Any help would be great. :)

Hi. After 3rd round continue to increase like this: 4) (sc in first sc, 3 sc in next repeat 6 times (24) ), than continue as shown. This will make circle wider. If it's not enough you can increase more, after 4rth round make: 5) (sc in first sc, 4 sc in next repeat 6 times (30) ) and also increase few stitches after 8th round. measure your slippers and add more rows after round 17, to make it longer, until it will be right size. You can easily add or take out stitches to adjust the size. Add more rows at the open section to make it more like a sock.

Will my rows be smaller since I'm using two 5mm yarns? I'm following the steps and mine looks smaller (circular) than yours since you're using two 6mm yarns; right?
@AniTugushi
@AniTugushi 8 жыл бұрын
+Katie Camara Hi, what do you mean by 6mm yarn? Did you mean crochet hook? I'm using 2 strands of medium (#4) yarn and 6 mm crochet hook. If you use 5 mm crochet hook, your work will be smaller
@KJNOWHEAT
@KJNOWHEAT 8 жыл бұрын
+Ani Tugushi (Turtle Whicky) I'm using a 6mm hook with two strings (yarn) at 5mm each (what the packaging says). Should I use two 6mm yarn (strings)-larger yarn instead with the 6mm hook?
@KJNOWHEAT
@KJNOWHEAT 8 жыл бұрын
Okay, I am using two strands of the #4 yarn with a 6 mm hook. I followed your steps and your work is thicker and rows are wider than mine. I don't understand.
@AniTugushi
@AniTugushi 8 жыл бұрын
+Katie Camara It always depends on yarn. You can do 2 things: change yarn to thicker one, or adjust size and make it bigger. After 3rd round continue to increase like this: 4) (*sc in first sc, 3 sc in next* repeat 6 times (24) ), than continue as shawn. This will make circle wider. If it's not enough you can increase more, after 4rth round make: 5) (*sc in first sc, 4 sc in next* repeat 6 times (30) ). Hope this helps

If you are making these for your own feet, I suggest measuring your feet in many areas. Lengthwise, Around your foot right behind the toes and around the foot where your arch is where your leg meets with your foot where the opening will be. Make your slippers to match those measurements. You can make the slippers slightly tighter than your measurements if you like a snug slipper as they will stretch a bit when wearing them, esp if you plan to wear them over bare feet. If you're going to wear socks, make the measurement's true to what you're measurements were.

Adjust the size: You can easily add or take out stitches to adjust the size. After 3rd round continue to increase like this: 4) (sc in first sc, 3 sc in next repeat 6 times (24) ), than continue as written. This will make circle wider. If it's not enough you can increase more, after 4rth round make: 5) (sc in first sc, 4 sc in next repeat 6 times (30) ) and also increase few stitches after 8th round. Try slipper and see if it fits you. Add more rows after round 17, to make it longer, until it will be right size.
