For those that are struggling to make this why don't you ask her some questions? I am a very new crocheter, like beginner beginner lol and I made one no problem. I stopped and looked to be sure it was symmetrical and adjusted if I needed to but otherwise it was super easy to follow! I've never even made a granny square lol so I'm pretty proud 👏 Thanks for the pattern/video ❤

The tutorial is very hard to understand and I couldn't find the written pattern anywhere so I wrote (just the skulls tho) it myself. I hope this helps some people out and that it's not as hars as the tutorial itself. Start with a slipknot R1: Chain 14x R2: sl st into the first ch you made, then ch 13x ( no ch 14 so the second eye socket won't be as wonky and disproportionate) R3: sl st into the same ch as in R3 Now you should have two circles that are supposed to be the eye sockets R4: sc 18x into one eye socket [18] R5: sc 18x into the next eye socket [36] R6: sl st into the first sc then sl st 7x, then ch2 [7] R7: turn your work, sc 14x R8-11: ch 1, turn your work, skip 1, sc till you have 2 sc left, skip 1 and sl st into the last sc (repeat the same for a total of 4 rows) Fasten off Now count 7 sc from the middle space, then go in with a slip stitch. R12: ch 1x, sc 1x into the same space them sc 4x, ch 4x, skip 6 ch, sc 4x R13: ch 1, turn your work, sc 4x, sc 4x into the nose hole, sc 4x R14: turn your work, skip a stich, sl st 2x, ch 3x, dc 7x or until you have 2 st left R15: turn your work, sc (8x) in every st Fasten off

Just adding granny square part in brief: make total of 8 chain 6 spaces, attaching each section with 1 hdc. Granny square R1: ch 3 and make 2 dc, ch 1. Make 3 dc, ch 1. Make next 3 dc in next (below ch 6 space), ch 3 for corner and 3 dc again. Ch 1 and make next 3 dc in next ch 6 space. Each chain six space will have 2 clusters of 3 dc and each side will be made up of 4 total clusters of 3 dc. R1 will be made up of a total of 16 clusters of 3 dc. R2: st into top of first chain on R1 and ch 4. Move to first ch 1 space (from R1) and make 3 dc. cont. with same R1 pattern for a total of 20 clusters of 3 dc. Each R2 side will be made of 5 total clusters of 3 dc.

Heya! I'm like a billion years late but noticed you'd asked for feedback and figured if I'm gonna whine I can at least try to help. 😂The first issue I ran into was toward the beginning where we first turn the project before continuing. You say chain, but then ch2 instead, and don't mention that the work should be flipped, so if you're crocheting along rather than watching your hands you don't see it, causing you to keep on crocheting around the side rather than doubling back. I hope it helps. It's a super cute pattern!

instead of using vague directions about where to place the yarn, it would be helpful if you counted the stitches in between each gap especially when you pulled out the black yarn. “top right/left” and “above the eye” are incredibly vague still. Counting how many stitches from the last stitch made would make it easier to know instead of just placing the stitches in the general area. It would ensure that the viewers are getting the same pattern down and not just estimating and ending up with an uneven mess.
