Skull granny square!!!

i swear im the only person having trouble with this. the skull i felt was super easy, the best skull tutorial i've seen but when i come to adding the second colour to make it a square, i seem to be a stitch short eventhough i'm pretty sure i followed the tutorial exactly as you said 😭😭

i felt like that too at the start, then i just kept going to see if i could find where it was wrong, 2 wonky squares later and the 3rd one came out good xD ive noticed that whenever the round where you do only dubbel crochets it ends up beeing 13 stitches per side :)

I made the skull following someone else’s tutorial and the head had an extra stitch. If you add 9 dc to the magic ring that may do it. Mine also had 6 chains for the eyes instead of the 5 she showed here. Her square around the skull was much more easier to follow and also worked out well with the skull I made.
