I don't have time to watch this whole thing right now, but just watching you build that tongue/mouth was mesmerizing. Blew my mind a little bit, never seen that before. Personally I like these long videos for when I have time to really sit and work along with it, or when I need some background noise while I fall asleep.

I also prefer the original video style. Loved this video & would love to see the other Kanto starters. Your Bulbasaur looks different (in a good way) from the other patterns floating out there; I think they are worth sharing. Thank you for everything you contribute; it's a lot of work and this thank you isn't nearly long enough.

Me, at the start of the video: Hm, I probably enjoy the short(er) videos, I can watch them in one sitting and can usually tell what you're doing... Me, 5 mins in: YES REVEAL ALL YOUR SECRETS, THAT INC WILL PROBABLY BE MORE INVISIBLE, LONG VIDEOS ARE THE BEST Conclusion: Maybe a long video every so often would be nice, but I'm sure it's more work, and we all want you to be okay and healthy and not burnt out, so no pressure whatsoever 🍰💜🍰💜🍰 Note: I am quite advanced in my crochet journey, so I don't need detailed instructions, but I learn a lot about about the design process from watching you breaking it down 😁

I'd love to see more pokemon! While many of them have been done a lot already, your style is pretty unique and your versions of the Kanto starters are the best I've seen. Can't wait to make this squirtle, just need to finish some WIPs first lol. I think the longer videos are good but they must be harder to make, I also like the shorter ones since I can watch them in one sitting. I'm fairly new to crochet but I've had no problems following your short videos. I'd rather you choose whichever video length is best for you.
@PurpleDolphinStudios3 жыл бұрын
I prefer this style of video as it's easier for me to keep up with what's happening. I'd also love to see the other starters and maybe more pokemon in the future. Gen 3 is my personal favorite, but Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur are adorable, too. I understand your hesitation to put out the other two, but I think yours are different enough to warrant it on top of completing the trio.

My opinion: definitly speed through simple lines but when it comes to where you end a knot(skull pattern video) and maybe even a zoom in at times for difficult or commonly mistake areas. Thats where i keep having my hickups with the skull and its teeth. Can some times see well enough other times its kinds hazy. Exalent video

I have a question. When you are doing your increases why is it you go through the front loop on the first stitch of the increase then both for the second stitch of the increase? Just curious.

Just to be real Fork some videos especially Ian really popular subjects like Pokemon you might want to label those as beginner videos where you go really slowly explain everything. And then for the more advanced videos you can either call them intermediate or Advanced or recap style or something so that people know what they're getting into when they click on them. Having categories like this will probably help

I'm mixed emotions on line by line, I personally enjoy the old way where you had the sections on the pattern on screen and you talked about the tricky bits, but I've been crocheting for almost 20 years now. I can though see how people who are newer to this craft would find this super beneficial. YESSSSS ON THE EEVEELUTIONS!!! please I so need them in my life! Where as you are right that there are a ton of pokemon patterns out there, they're all slightly different. Yours are super adorable, even though you'll ve sending the pattern to patrons, will they also be in the shop? (Not like I need to be back in crochet jail, but I'd buy them.... totally an eeveelution bundle... just sayin.)
@ComplicatedKnots3 жыл бұрын
I promise to put them in the shop too 😂 at the moment I think I'll probably keep my videos shorter in general, but maybe sprinkle through some of the longer ones so less experienced ppl feel like they can play too...
