You could probably double up the yarn and use a bigger crochet hook. 🧶☺️

This is such a simple, quick and easy pattern. My first try took me less than 10 minutes to finish. Thank you! EDIT: I kept the red tails rather long, tied them into a knot to secure them and tied them into a tiny bow at the other end in such a way that the small peppermint can be suspended from it. so there is the peppermint, sort of a loop of two red strands of yarn and on top of the branch (or where you hang it) there is a tiny bow. Festive!
