I hope you see this although this video is a couple years old. I’ve been crocheting for over 49 years now- holy smokes!!- and that jog has always bothered me. I never found a solution- this is IT!! I am so happy!!

I had to frog the body of my most recent WIP because the seam wasn’t straight. Thank you, I have restarted using your method!! 😊

O my goodness, thank you! I have been trying every method in the book to get my seam to be invisible, but none worked. Then i found this video and I thought "well if I can't make the seam invisible, at least I can try to make it straight, it'll be easier to hide." So I used your method, and my seam is now practically non existent. This is a game changer, thanks again 😇

I got it! It took me a few times to do it. Just had to keep replaying the beginning steps until I got it memorized and it works great. I'm starting with a small, plant jar cover then I'll progress to other projects. Thank you for this because the diagonal line is simply ludicrous. edited: for typos lol..

D'oh I just found this video half way through makimg my sweater! Never mind, I'll suffer the diagonal for this one but I'm definitely using your technique for my next sweater, thank you 🤗

Good tips. But how to handle if there is pattern in each row? I tried this method but it didn’t work with pattern, instead of just repetitive plain stitch. Thanks
@bluestarcrochet Жыл бұрын
You could space out the increases differently in keeping with the pattern.

All these years...all those slanted garments. I can't thankyou enough! One question if I may...when doing the alternative join, do you have to work back loop only, or was that just cos you were already working blo? 🙏
@bluestarcrochet28 күн бұрын
@@CiaraFitzgerald1972 you don’t have to work blo, it was because of the pattern I was working on
