Your method is PERFECT! I've tried so many different ways to keep that seam straight and for one reason or another, they didn't work, they looked awful, or it was just too complicated for my tiny little mind! Yours works, the seam looks great and I understand your directions easily! The only thing I changed was I did a ch1 on both rows instead of ch2 on one. It eliminates that gap that needs to be covered up and doesn't cause any problems with the count or the direction of the seam. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am glad you found my method useful)) I came up with it almost as soon I started using Hdc st in the round, I wanted everything to look perfect)) As I was learning other crochet stitches and watching teaching channels, I realized there was no video like it, so I decided to make one)) Then I decided to make a thorough and organized tutorial channel for crocheters, as many channels out there did not satisfy my learning needs)) So here I am putting together different crochet ways, stitches and patterns for everyone to reference:)

Thank you so much for your tutorial. You explained it better than any of the others I watched and although they knew what they were doing, their explanations were not as clear as yours! I finally get it! Thank you again!

This is remarkable and looks so much easier than any other I've seen. Do you have this in written directions anywhere? I do well watching the video but much better if I have it written down somewhere. Thanks . . .

Ingenious! I have no idea how long it took you to come up with this method, but I am soooo glad you spent that time. This is amazing! It is truly a straight seam, and almost indiscernible. Wow! This makes my day. I'm using your method on a Kindle cover for one of my grands, and am so pleased. Thank you!!!

This is the best tutorial and it really does work! I was wondering though, should you follow this same procedure when you are doing the increase rounds, like for example when you are making a hat and you increase for the crown? Thank you so much!

Hi, found your video really interesting and enjoyable, I suffer from arthritis in my hands and have tried most hooks to help me crochet longer and ease my discomfort. I have tried putting grips of various mediums on my hooks sadly none have worked. Please could you tell me what medium you are using on your hooks as I am assuming it is to help you grip, thank you for your time and trouble regards Jan Staniforth

Thank you for your share. Its sure does away with an unsighlty seam. Why do you start with chain one and in next row you go up to chain two? So for further rows I should chain 2? It seems to give me a small gap, maybe I yanked the yarn too much.

This was one of my first videos of the sort, maybe I got nervous and made an error))) I always just do chain one when using this method. When I came up with this idea, there was nothing like this posted, I see now there are many more videos)) I came up with a way to keep a seam straight with Double Crochet stitches as well, it should be on my channel. I’m glad you found my videos useful. Enjoy crocheting😊🤗

@@lovelyknitcrochetbyyanina909 There is still nothing like this. It looks awesome. I tried chain two and there is a small gap between the rows. So I am trying chain one. As long as the stitch numbers are correct and that seam does not show its all good. Thank you!

Esther Fogel The straight seam method for the Dc st is different. I have a tutorial for that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqTXoGaZbtCpr6s. For the single crochet, I usually crochet in spiral to avoid having a seam.
