I used the same thickness yarn and hook and my beanie still needs another row to become 17 cm (its for my hubs), so i will end on 84 stitches. It should still work i guess

Hello, and thank you for your kind comment! Unfortunately, you can't do anything to fix it now, but you probably have a diagonal seam as a result of not turning the work. Just remember next time you have to turn in order to avoid it.

Why does it look like it has small gaps when you are crocheting it? Are these small gap’s visible when you wear the beanie? Also is it ok if I only crochet the horizontal rows ?
