On row 6, you say there should be 122 stitches. I redid this row 5 times because I only came up with 120 stitches. I decided to check the written pattern and that says 120 stitches, which is what I have. Otherwise, your tutorial is great. Just thought you should know so if it’s possible to correct that, you could. It will make it easier for people who only follow the tutorial, which is what I normally do. Thanks for the beautiful pattern!

I followed your video but it seems to be doubling up on its elf and ruffling? What have i done wrong....when i put the ends together its not nice an flat...its ruffling??
@brendadailey89177 жыл бұрын
Edith, I had the same problem, did it three different times always started to ruffle at row 6 and by row 7 very ruffled. I went to a K hook and modified row 6 instead of 1 dc, ch1, 1 dc in each ch one sp. I did it ever other one just ch 1, 1 dc, ch1, 1 dc then next ch 1 sp, I ch 1 and skipped it on row 16 now looking good.
@edithwakeham62327 жыл бұрын
Brenda Dailey hi thanks for your reply i found out that if you keep going with the original pattern....the bigger it gets the ruffles start fading out and it works itself out x

Nice tree skirt, but on row 6 you say there are 122 stitches and I counted 120. So I was going nuts and pulling that row out more than once. When I checked the actual pattern the stitch count is 120 in fact. So anyone going nuts on the count Row 6 of the number stitches, it's actually 120. "see the pattern" on yarnutopia.com.

Am I the only one to notice the mistake with row 11? It's supposed to be a repeat of row 6 but here she has done row 7 instead?
@mariakristinahawl16407 жыл бұрын
suggestion... how about shorter tutorials (with more stitching instead of so much pre-tutorial talking)?? had to wait 8 1/2 minutes before you started chaining. some of us enjoy your videos during our lunch hour at work and the chitter chatter wastes a lot of time. great tree skirt. thanks.

Suggestion... how about skipping ahead in the video instead of waiting and complaining that you don't know how KZbin works?
@Daphne5106 жыл бұрын
@@sunnyisfictional that's what I do. If I feel they are talking too much I just skip to the part where they start working. I didn't feel she was too chatty as others have stated.

So sorry I went too fast, I do have a written pattern, you can find it here: yarnutopia.com/2016/11/25/fabulous-flurries-tree-skirt/
@janbarnett1318 жыл бұрын
I found your pattern, thank you for that. When I was first starting to teach I used to be the same until someone reminded me that we weren't at the races so didn't need a commentary that fast lol. It worked, my classes were much more relaxed after that lol. Have found a load of your work and marked a few that I would like to do so thank you for those as well. x
