Hi! I just found this. I'm making it with you. I did buy the pattern so I can print it out for later. I'm making mine 12 x12 so I can put hot items on my wood table. So, what I am doing is using two pieces of cotton batting. Then one piece of this insulate stuff I got from Joanns. Now no burn spots on my wood tables. This method is also great for bakers. That oven can be brutally hot!

@@elizabethalexander-pukerud7951 Hi Elizabeth! That sounds like a great idea, and will make it more heavy duty. I hope you enjoy making your potholder. ❤️

Hi guys! I hope you enjoy making your potholders. Just a couple of things: 1. If you prefer written patterns, you can find it here: thispixiecreates.com/puff-stitch-heart-potholder/ 2. If you find that you are gaining an extra st each rnd, you might be crocheting into your slip stitch join by mistake. To fix this, mark the last st of each rnd with a stitch marker. 3. Please let me know if you have any questions! 😊

Lol pretending like I'm a new crocheter. I can't believe I was doing this. I'm just crocheting along not paying much attention. Then I counted ugh extra stitch! I really haven't been crocheting for 50 years!! I'm BRAND new! 😁

would you say that you used up all 180 yards for this one potholder?

I didn't use it all, but every crocheter is different, so depending on your tension and gauge, you might use the whole 180 yds (I like to add a little extra yardage to be safe). 🙂
