Thank you for clarifying where to find the chain 1 space! Other tutorials were very unclear and I was struggling. You’re an excellent teacher!

I thought it would be more difficult but it's the easiest stitch I've seen so far [besides the basic crochet stitches of course]. Would it work with 19-20 wpi yarn? I have a few skeins of this beautiful purple yarn that I want to use to make myself a t-shirt [it's too thin for anything else] and I'm looking for a quite dense types of stitches and the spider one looks like something that it may work for my project.
@bellacococrochet4 жыл бұрын
You can use any weight of yarn that you like but as the stitch is quite dense, I would recommend using a bigger hook size than the yarn calls for to help give it some drape 😊

I'm loving this yarn. I want to crochet a chunky sweater, would you recommend this yarn? Is it really soft?
@bellacococrochet3 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 The yarn was my Bella Coco Crochet Super Soft Chunky which was an exclusive from my Crochet Society boxes - you can check out the yarn shop as there are sometimes spares available to buy here: crochetsociety.co.uk/yarn-shop/

I have finished a cushion with basket weave stich; can u tell me which stich should i have to use for border ??
@bellacococrochet4 жыл бұрын
I think as basket weave is so highly textured, it's nice to leave the border a bit plainer - a couple of rounds of treble or half treble crochet may be all it needs 😊

Very pretty pattern. What size hook would I use. In the 4 medium it recommends 5mm but I crochet tight and had to go up to a size 7mm.
@Southern_Angel074 жыл бұрын
Where did you get your hook and yarn love the hook would love to get one thank you
@jackiecherriman23804 жыл бұрын
Please can you tell me roughly how big the blanket would be with one ball? Absolutely love this stitch and yarn.
@bellacococrochet4 жыл бұрын
This would depend on the yarn you use, what hook size you use and your tension :)
@jackiecherriman23804 жыл бұрын
I was going on the yarn and hook size that you had used in the tutorial.

Mam can you tell what ply is Dk weight yarn
@bellacococrochet4 жыл бұрын
DK (double knit) is the most popular of all yarn weights - perfect for jumpers and cardigans, kidswear and accessories. Sometimes known as 8-ply or 6-ply in Australia and New Zealand, DK yarn is most commonly knit on 4.00mm needles and hooks. Hope this helps :)

I've tried several times. Beautiful stitch, yes, but I just can't find those chain spaces for the life of me.
@bellacococrochet3 жыл бұрын
This can definitely be more of a tricky stitch until you get the hang of it. I would make sure you're using fairly thick yarn to begin with such as aran and a 5mm hook; this will make the chain spaces easier to see 😊
