❤❤I've been watching her for the past week or so. I learned the basics when I was young my gram showed me...like 29years or so ago and Ive not retained most of it as I've only recently wanted to get back into the hobby. Your voice is so relaxing soothing. I like to watch you doing the stitches because you're quite literally the calmest and I have restarted almost all the videos I've come across to be sure my work looks right. Thank you 😁

I am glad I happened upon this pattern. The way you taught to finish off the opposite side… I never learned it that way and it makes sense to single slip stitch sc, st, sc, st In the past I would try to do same count but the side would be longer and I would end up decreasing. I couldn’t figure it out. Robin you have taught me so much in the past 3 years. I have only been crocheting for 3 years but I feel I’m learning years worth. ❤

You are a lovely teacher! Clear and easy explanations, congrats🎉😊❤ I used to do these stitches only in circular crochet pieces, I didn't know it worked in a one faced piece. Could it be because I did only the 2 single crochet in the same stich and skipped one stich, without chain one between the SC? Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷

Thank you so much for all the work it takes to bring these lovely videos. You really explain the stitches and go slow enuf to follow you!!! Haha… I’ve been crocheting since I was nearly a toddler. Before I went off to Kindergarten, for sure. My dear Grandmother taught me. She made sooo many pieces with the pineapple stitch, including a table cloth for her monster table I would say the size of a full size bed! She worked on that for years. She passed away about a week after JF Kennedy s assignation. I was like 5 or 6 years old… I think. Been a minute so can’t be sure… lol Have a terrific week! I’m looking forward to your next video alreasy… Virtual hugs!!! -Bobbi-

Is it possible to do the back loop when starting the single crochets? Like for the wattle stitch?

Thanks Robin for an awesome tutorial. I ❤ this stitch. I have to tell you the yarn you use is always so beautiful. May I ask what yarn you used for the video for the little sample. I’m sorry I missed your info…. I know you always list the yarns used and crochet hooks. 😊gayle

I love you the way you show the pattern however, the yarn you use makes it very very difficult for older folks to see if this was a brighter yard or a vera gated yarn. That would be awesome but please understand that I am very excited to follow you and to see how you crochet more things and learn more I’m 73 years old so I speak my opinion but I’ve been crocheting for a long time had forgotten how to do this stitch.❤😅
