@@SunflowerCottageCrochetI will say, after working up 8ish rows, I realized the chain one at the beginning of the row was starting to warp the project. So I frogged and then restarted from the beginning without the chain 1 and it’s looking much more even!

Nice that the reverse side of the stitch pattern is lovely as well. I love working Tunisian crochet...well, except for the curl 😂...and this doesn't seem to have much curl at all 🎉. Going to try this right away, as I'm working on a box of scarfs and other winter wear for charity and I think this would be a great addition to my stitch collection. Thank you for a great tutorial 🤗

Wow! Great tutorial! I got this stitch on the first try. I had decided last night that I wanted to make a white scarf out of a beautiful Red Heart with Love white metallic yarn. This pattern is showing off the metallic threads so well and looks absolutely luscious! I’m also thinking of coming multiple sections of different Tunisian stitches. What other stitches would have a similar thicker texture?

Other stitches with a similar thicker texture? That is a good question - which nobody has answered. So my suggestion is to experiment; make swatches with Tunisian HDC and then followed by another stitch to see if they work together. Maybe Tunisian Double crochet would work? Maybe some sort of Tunisian puff stitch? Maybe a Front-Post and Back Post combination?
