Been watching for a while, played first live tournament recently. I'm now 1 for 1 on WSOP event cashes, couldn't have done it without your videos. Thanks for all you do.

I’ve been watching these videos about 3 years now, and I completely agree this is one of the most important videos I’ve seen. Multi-way pots are very difficult to navigate because the variables to consider increase significantly. I love when something is naturally counterintuitive but then actually makes sense when explained (e.g the KJ x|r vs K6 call on AK5). I learned a lot here. Thank you!

This is really connecting well with something you said in another webinar I watched: "A lot of the time the correct play feels wrong." While I can understand the rationale of the solver in these spots, I can't "feel" like it's correct. That Q-3-2 board is a prime example of how the GTO play feels unnatural. Great webinar, especially at low stakes you're going to be playing multiway more often then not.

I really like how you talk through these examples - so easy to get trapped in poker.

He's literally only losing to 4 hands (66s,qqs,AA,random 2) and he's playing a NOTORIOUS BLUFFER. How could he fold?? SMH so hard I'm turning into the Exorcist child.

I'm getting flushed over flushed way to ofen in the blinds with low suited connectors. In a multiway limped pot. What am i suppose to do when half the table limps in ?

That aq raise (around 25 minutes mark).... I assume we are not doing that when we are 100BB deep and our allin treshhold should be much higher. Am I correct? Nice video btw!!!

I think you should always bet with Kings on Q 2 3 rainbow

I really don't understand how our KK doesn't have the range advantage on the Q32 flop. We raised pre, both flat, so we have all the AA KK QQ AQ KQ maybe QJ, and even the 33 and 22's for sets. And since nobody 3b pre, we probably have the nut advantage there too.
@PokerCoaching2 жыл бұрын
KK is not the only hand in your range. You have a ton of unpaired hands.
@johnnyboychess2 жыл бұрын
It’s all the hands you 3 bet with, not the hand you have right now. AJ,AK, KJ, K10, A10, 99, 88, 1010, J10,JJ

Thanks for the video! I learned a lot, but I would prefer that you use 100BB examples instead of 40BB. I think by using 100BB examples, you will help the most players. In cash, only donkeys have 40bb stacks. I wonder how the strategy differs with 100BB stacks.

In a Live 1/2 game where players have a propensity to overcall and underbluff, I am going 2/3 with KK on a Q32r board GTO is nice, but it won't make you the most money in this spot.
@OneEyedJack01 Жыл бұрын
Nobody at 1/2 is playing GTO and most of them aren't paying any attention to your play patterns. Playing exploitative is more profitable at low stakes because there are more mistakes to exploit.

My most _memorable_ bluff was at 10-20 stud. I had four Hearts showing but all I had was a missed straight draw that i had been betting and a missed flush drawe and a seven on the river had given me a pair of sevens. But we were heads up and I made the futile river bluff in limit into a pot where he would have been justified in calling because I might have a heart attack and a dead man can't win a pot. And he called and said "flush is good, you lucky bastard.. And I flipped up my other seven and said just a pair and he said "Sevens are good, you lucky bastard.

Who carries all this in their head at a live table? I can't imagine that the percentage of players who can recall mixed strategy numbers on the spot exceeds 1.2% of the playing population.
