at around 32:00 bottom right table with the suited brunson 2 pair on the turn when opponent checks back they caps their range at exactly one pair holding and draws (which are few) giving you an opportunity to value bet most rivers for around 9bb (or they're slow playing a set which saves you blinds anyway) I'm writing this comment to say thank you! thanks to watching this channel and studying for just about a year part time, i recognized that cap right away! i wouldnt have been able to recognize it within five seconds before this past year. I struggle with turn play so it felt like a big deal.

Congrats on the 2nd place yesterday in the PokerGo $10k. When you have time, you should make a video praising Adam Hendrix for his proper hand selection in the tournament, as his decision to fold Ad9d against your KT os button shove allowed him to later call with AQ in a similar spot, and QQ again to double up against your jams. He deserves some credit for adjusting to your style, and you as well for constantly putting them under pre-flop pressure! You just need to fold a weak top pair every now and then!

Here’s the simple math on aggression pre-flop. It’s cheaper to raise or 3 bet pre then move away from it post flop if you miss & don’t c-bet than it is to limp and chase hands. Plus you’ll be seen as aggressive and can induce action from players at the proper times. Why ppl don’t understand this and just limp-call their whole stack away always makes me smh.

Hello, I am a US resident who unfortunately has only found betonline as the only option to play for real money online. Is global poker available for me to potentially play for real money/cash out? Or was this play money you are playing for? I checked out the global poker site, plus (breifly) their thread on 2+2, but am still very unclear. It seems like a place I’d prefer to play on over betonline. Could anyone maybe DM me about how I could go about playing on this site for real money?

I have an open limping/3bet strategy from UTG in full ring live cashgames if the game is aggressive and the players are relatively bad. I do this for a few reasons. - I want to see flops with small pairs that aren't good enough to raise UTG full ring, like 22 / 33 / 44 and 55. To balance this I will also do the same with AA KK QQ and AK. This protects my limping range. - The population typically thinks that limp/3betting in EP is always nutted and will overfold so I can get value from weak holdings and when somebody does call light, I can still catch a set with my weaker holdings - If I do bink a set with my weak holdings, in the small stakes I am going to get a double through vs somebody who has an overpair/top pair - Small stakes players don't know how to play 3bet pots, so despite the positional disadvantage, we can make some of the deficies back up by having a solid post flop game against the weaker players

Have you got any tips when studying the tournament masterclass? I've been taking notes and it's been great all the way up to the flop section. Now it feels like it's moving way too fast, information overload and nothing is being absorbed. I've gone from getting 95% of questions right on in the preflop section to literally 0% every time on the flop section and not digesting the information well enough..

You cannot use this strategy in online tournament no-limit games. Ext. Limp A/6, raise it 4x or more A/6 is all in. Limp with pocket 44 Raise it with A/K 10x blinds ,limper calls hits a set while you hit top pair.
