T-roy, I tried your recipe and it was amazing! My whole family loved it. My 2yo could not get enough. I couldn't find the pineapple preserves, so I got apricot preserves and a can of apricots for the juice. Thanks again for an amazing recipe.

Appreciate this video. I use to cure and smoke 25+ years ago and just started up again with my brand new 22.5" smokey mountain. I found a couple of my old recipes, but forgot about boiling the water and mixing everything in together first so it dissolves completely. DUH... Thanks T-ROY. and cheers to yah!

I love looking a recipes for an idea. I may not have every ingredient but can substitute here and there and get a general idea. I've got to say I didn't follow your recipe to the T but the back bone of it is phenomenal. Pineapple glaze was sooo good. I will absolutely be doing this again. Used a 10.5 lbs. picnic roast, the candied crust melted sweet goodness in my mouth and it was raved by all who shared my table today.

Thank you T-Roy. I purchased a SWM 2 years ago. You have taught me so much. I’m smoking a ham this way for thanksgiving so I don’t have to eat my broth in-laws dry Turkey. UPDATE: It came out dry. Not sure why.

I made this ham for Christmas, it was awesome. I followed T-Roy's recipe for the cure & glaze, then I smoked it at 250 deg on my offset smoker with peach wood to about 165 deg internal glazing it about 4 times in the last hour or the cook. Great recipe, Thanks T-Roy.
@bocivus3285 жыл бұрын
T- to the Roy! I made this today for Christmas dinner. It was AWESOME! it took my 8 pounder a bit longer to get to 165° though but I did it on the Weber Kettle. My wife and her friend loved it! Thanks for posting this and Merry Christmas, homie!

Hey T-Roy, that ham looked awesome and the glaze recipe rocks! For Christmas I'm smoking a small 3 lb spiral cut ham (since I Iive alone) on the Slow and Sear. I'll be borrowing your glaze recipe for the ham and not use the crappy one in the package. This past week the high temp outside was about 10 F and down to -20 F at night so I hope the Weber Kettle is up to the task, lol. Have a great week and I'm sure I'll catch with you on Thursday Chat. If not, Merry Christmas and Cheers to ya T-Roy! Say hey to Karen for me. Thanks for sharing.
