how to cure writer's block | tips for writing a book when you get stuck

With Camp NaNoWriMo right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share a bunch of strategies that I've found to help me when I'm feeling creatively blocked. Some of these are kinda odd and will probably not work for everything, but I think a lot of them are really fun ways to make writing more fun when you're struggling with it.

I love these tips, especially about adding a cute animal! And I love the reading tip, too! I LOVE reading and I read 89 books last year and this year I’m barely at 25 (yes, I include beta and sensitivity reads). I also agree with taking a break. I have 6 drafts of the fantasy novel I started querying and I took a 7 month break between drafts 3 and 4. It helped SO much! Thanks for these great tips! 💜🥰

#5 is so interesting to me as a linear writer. I'll skip parts but other than a few notes, I don't write scenes out of order. Maybe I should try it.
