Helen L. So awesome! Congratulations! I have the same interior on mu NX and I love it! I just use a soft cloth with a little warm water. Sometimes I even use a baby wipe. Just make sure nothing has any alcohol or sheen. Hope this helps! Congrats!

Question ! If my lights are on auto and DRL also on will the light bulb icon remain on the dashboard all throughout ?

Hi! The lightbulb icon on the dashboard, usually only comes on when the low beam headlamps turn on, either automatically or manually). So in Auto mode, the DRL will be on, but the lo beams could be off if there is enough ambient light during the day. I hope this helps! Thanks very much for tuning in!

Is it possible to have the daytime running lights on together with the rear lights?

Hi! When your headlights come on the daytime running lights and rear lights are also usually on. Usually when you are in Park the DRL are off. Some vehicles will turn one DRL off when you have your blinker on. Then the DRL will come back on when the blinker is off. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in!

Hi 2xxbia, sounds like they functioning correctly. The dome lights usually turn on front and rear dome lights together, unless your model has an Off Button on the housing for the rear dome lights. Then you can cancel rear lighting by turning that off. Only the individual lights can be controlled separately. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in!

Hi! Glad you liked the video. If your welcome lights are staying on all the time, make sure your Dome light control is selected to Door mode and that they are not turned all the way on. Also make sure your you are locking the car. If they still do not turn off after the car is in Park, turned off and locked, then I would recommend you take it to service so they can check it for you. Thank you so much for the quick response. I was trying to follow your instruction, but the issue still happened. Anyway, in my country there is no LEXUS company as well as service center. Normally, we can order Lexus cars from oversea dealers directly by local car dealers. Is there any alternative solution like reset all the settings? @@mr.soknynon1173 Hi! What model and year is your Lexus? There is usually a "Delete Personal Data" or "Initialize" capability in the Settings on the car. It will clear all customizations, radio presets, paired phones, etc. You could do that and then you could try a "hard reset" which is a battery disconnect for at least 20 or 30 minutes. That will reload the software on the vehicle. That can be helpful, but I'm not sure if it will solve the issue you're describing. Best of luck with it.

Help please! I've done something and the rear personal lights will not turn off on my 2020 RX350L.

Hi! It could be a couple of things. First check that the lights haven’t been manually turned on. They will either have a button for each light or you touch right on the light itself to turn it on or off. If that isn’t it, make sure every door is all the way closed, including the back. And if they still won’t turn off, check the Door mode button by the front dome lights. Turn it off and all lights should be off that are being triggered by a door actuator. If you are still having trouble then a Technician should check it out for you. Hope this helps.

Yes, you sure can. Just lock the car with the mechanical key. You will use the key cylinder that is hidden behind the driver's door handle. Hi! On some Lexus models the seat settings and climate settings are saved to the fob. On others there are more settings that are attached to your Lexus Driver Profile and you need to link your key to the profile in the vehicle so the car can recognize the current driver. What model and year is your Lexus?

@@scottieervin7278 Awesome! Your key fob should be linked to the driver position memory through the buttons in the drive door handle after saving your driver positions. Here's the section of the ES video to show you how: 15:48 Link Key to Driver Position The key fob will also usually recall the last climate control setting that was on when that key was used in the vehicle. 👍

When setting the sensitivity of when the lights come on, mine says plus or minus. Does plus mean lights come on sooner or does the minus mean lights come on sooner?

Hi Charles, Thanks for watching. Plus will increase the sensitivity of the sensor to detect darkness so it should have your lights coming on sooner. Minus should do the opposite, making the sensor less sensitive to darkness. I hope this makes sense. :)

Hi David, Unfortunately there is not an adjustment in the vehicle to make the buttons on the steering wheel bright. The best option will be to adjust the instrument panel and see if that will somehow help with more light for you. Sorry I don't have a specific customization for this. Thanks for checking in .

Hi there, I have a 2015 Lexus ES350 base model. Does this work on the base model too? I would like my DRLs to turn on in the 'auto' position. Right now the DRL lights are not coming on when it is in the 'auto position'. I never knew about or checked the vehicle customization settings before.

Hi! Thanks for watching! Make sure to check the settings in your vehicle. You should have a lot of these same customizations. Here's the link I found for the customizable settings for your year ES: drivers.lexus.com/lexus-drivers-lscs-theme/PDF/services/2015/2015%20ES%20350%20Customer%20LPS%20Forms.pdf Here's how to check the DRL: put the headlights into "Auto," make sure the setting is customized to "On" for DRL, then put the car into Drive with your foot on the brake. If you have someone standing out side of the car or if you are parked by a reflective surface, you should see the DRL come on when you shift into gear. Hope this helps!

All of the Owner's Manuals are there in pdf format so you can search through for more details if you need additional help. I know there are differences for vehicle builds in different regions and different countries, but so much of it carries over that it can still be tremendously helpful. :)

@@NorthsideLexus hmm..I just checked and its odd... In my lexus es 350, there only seems to be "climate settings" as the only option when i go to vehicle customization. Maybe the base version dosent include some of those extra light settings, etc..

@@vignesh7989 Could be. The settings that show are either there or there are not. So they only show compatible settings and customizations. If you are still not seeing the DRL come on, try turning them on manually dial up on the stalk until you are one click away from the Low Beam headlight on selection. See if they are on. If not, turn the low beams all the way on and see if they are on. Either way, the next time you get service done on the vehicle, I would have them check the DRL also. Hopefully they will find out what's causing that to happen.

Some Lexus models will turn the dome lights off automatically after a set amount of time. It will vary by model and year and may not apply to your vehicle. Make sure to check with your Service Department is you are having issues with your battery after leaving the interior lights on for an extended period of time while the vehicle is turned off. Hi Judith, I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your phone. If you can make a call through the Bluetooth system, then it does mean it is connected correctly to the car. If it wasn't you would not be able to make or receive calls. I would check your settings on your phone to make sure you don't have anything turned on that would block calls while driving or connected to Bluetooth.

Hi Betsy. If the car is in motion it will gray out parts of the menu and selections are not available until you are stopped. Some features may require you to put the car in Park before making selections. DRLs are a legal requirement on new cars since February 2011. So dont turn them off!

It is highly advised to keep them on at all times. Some parts of the world do not require it yet and some people ask about how to turn off all light in and on the vehicle if they are Stargazers. They part in areas that require complete darkness to observe the stars at night.
