Thanks a ton! Note: I'm reasonably sure the AC is still belt driven like any other gas/diesel car and the reason it's staying cooler is just being a newer car with no wear to the door seals and duct insulation. Full EVs have all-electric AC units that works as you're describing that offer Pet Mode. I expect the Camry engine will turn on/off as needed to keep the AC refrigerant cool regardless of battery charge level.

I believe this would work for the 2024 toyota chr australian spec since they have the same gauge clusters and steering wheel but good vid
