ok so I'm 2 years late to this party but... Great Finds Sister & ty for the tips! I live in Canada so we don't have a hobby lobby but we do have walmart and michaels so i will defo use your tips and save money. I have a planner problem also and yes Im addicted to Travellers Notebooks I make my own & I also Bullet Journal.

I know this video was made a few years ago but u can purchase the different happy planner layouts and just print out what u need when u need it. A lot cheaper & they’re not dated. I make my own stickers so I can date everything

And speaking of art projects and journals< do you have your children keep journals for school or reading? There are some AWESOME DIY composition journal videos on KZbin as well. I'm seriously addicted to thses DIY planner/journal videos as well as making these journals. So thank you for your videos!

I have used and even handmade the travelers notebooks. I like them but I like them more for journaling and art type scrapbooks. I did use them as a planner before homeschooling but for me it’s not big enough to be a homeschool planner. I love how with the TN you can change out the books monthly and even make your own books easily 👍

I have seen those traveler notebook videos on KZbin. You can make one! Do you get crafty when your children our working on schoolwork? If they are creating an art project, you can make one of these as your art project.

Love this! I’ve been doing this the last few years…I’m so addicted to everything happy planner. I made my kids their own planners/student notebook with happy planners too! I do have the full size big punch and it makes it a bit easier to punch the large sheets.

I went to my local hobby lobby and got the my planner for dirt cheap they are 2022-2023 the classic style for $3.99-4.99 each I also for the work +Life planner the large and classic they were the 2023 jan- Dec for $8.00 for both so I am combined this to make my own

@@ourthriftyhomeschool I have to share this because you talk about how God blesses you with homeschool school curriculum. Ok so I have been wanting this latchmate container. It's got a handle and a tray for supplies and it would be perfect for "homeschool in a box." Take it to a friend's house, relatives etc. Could only find it at Michael's (too far to drive for me and I hate paying for shipping. $15 plus shipping.) It's on Amazon for $25... yikes! Today I went into my Dollar General and what did I find!!! The dg version of the tote!!! It was $10 and in the color I wanted and only one on the shelf. I about started crying! I knew that was God. Got it packed already so we can take it to the park. tomorrow.

It was a thicker card stock paper I got at Walmart. A couple steps up from computer paper! 😁

Maybe you can laminate the note taking page and cut it back down then glue it to the month tab. You can use wet erase markers on that and it will be reusable every year too.

If you have good note then download and use it with ipad. No paper and less hassle. However, I have to say that I do like writing on real paper...

Totally get the planner addiction! I buy an Erin Condren Academic planner (January start date) in the winter when they are 50% off. I do the same as you and just change the numbers. How do you have so much opportunity to ship!?

I’m really intrigued by Erin Condren Planners bc I’ve heard so much…but I’ve never seen one in person. I really don’t shop that much lol 😂 I just get great deals when I do go! All of that loot from Hobby Lobby was in 2 separate trips!
