Temu has diamond painting sets for 3 dollars and they are very nice

I bought thrifted books which were brand new. I buy thrifted Legos during the year and at Christmas I do buy new ones. If the kids do not receive toys during the year this is great. I have thrifted art desks and kitchen sets that looked brand new. I typically do not do used shoes but if brand new at the thrift store I will. How were the crochet kits? So many have been bad that we bought. I bought woobles this year and they are amazing. I'm of the mindset that I would rather get 3 things they really wanted rather than 7 if I only had 50.00, so I would have paid the 15 for the slippers. Sol Di Janiero is very popular among her age group, yes. It runs 25 for a small bottle. We save that to buy for Christmas or a birthday. There are parents who have money to spend who just choose not to at Christmas and that is fine and works for their families.

I live in Utah..and you are right! It is an amazing state! Such different landscape as you from north to south. So many cool natural backdrops! As for the Kohl's cash...my concern is...that the Kohl's cash prints out but also goes to your electronic account. So even if the paper flew away, that $15.00 would be under her phone number. So she still could have used it. I never take the printed ones in store anymore. Just use my phone number. Other than that...I loved seeing how well you stretched the budget and got really meaningful gifts that your girls will love.

You are delightful. We had 5 wonderful children and all are grown now. We were thrifty too. I remember one Christmas when we only had $20 for them. I made many gifts, handmade. They never knew we were on a budget....they loved everything and we were much you. Games, homemade gifts, new pajamas made by me, one bought toy, etc. I loved this video. Great job at finding adorable gifts for your kids!

I wish I would have done this from the very beginning with my kids!! I spoiled them rotten because I was a Jehovah’s Witnesses all my childhood and never had Christmas or birthdays..Sooooo I over did it and now it’s expected! We are not rich, but probably would be if I didn’t spend so much money on things they couldn’t care less about mow😂..You did GREAT!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Oh and I just subscribed ❤ Oh and one more thing, lol, TEMU is awesome for cheap but good diamond paintings and a lot of other stuff for cheap!! Read the reviews and descriptions really well before you buy, and it’s free shipping! You may already do TEMU, but thought I’d mention it ❤

My first time watching you. I enjoyed it very much. Our 3 children always appreciated what they got bk we never got them huge expensive things. We had a very tight budget. I was a STAH MOM. I never wanted our children to say “is that all I got”, so I was very careful to teach them to appreciate any gift they got. They didn’t have grandparents or other family & friends to give them things so what they got from us was IT. We taught them that we were celebrating Jesus’ birthday, but wanted them to feel special, too. You did great finding special things for each child.

You did absolutely amazing with your budget 👏 It seems like every year for some reason or other my budget gets smaller. I need to start getting more creative and searching for deals throughout the year.

Brand new subbie here!! But it's so refreshing to find a vlogger who doesn't spend $$$$$$ on their kids at Christmas!! 🫶🏼 It!! I NEVER went crazy for my son, who is now almost 17. He is the most gracious, thankful, giving kiddo I have ever met!

Just found you today Dec 28. You remind me so much of me when my girls (3) were young. They are now in their 30's and have their own children. I had a notebook at christmas and kept a talley of their gifts and how much I spent on them. I've always been a thrifter and very rarely buy anything for full price. Today, retired, I am a reseller. I thrift and resell on 5 different sites: Ebay, Etsy, Depop, Mercari and Poshmark. I love what I do and love saving items from the landfill for a while and finding them new homes. Loved your videos I watched today. I also subscribed.

its harder to do that when you have little kids its easier when they're older mid teens and likely working a part time job so can buy what ever they didn't get for themselves the average American spends $460.00 on Christmas gifts for their kids. well with the PJs you get what you pay for buy cheap and it won't last a couple of wear/wash cycles before you get a hole in your PJs though if your willing to pay a bit higher a price you will get better quality for example Ellen Tracy/Charter Club are usually more expensive than a no name brand but the quality is better insides of pants/shirts are brushed to make them soft as peach skin so they don't stick and pull if you have a chronic skin disorder like eczema

It may depend on where you live. But I have always shopped like this. I actually found it super easy when the kids were little bc thrift stores are full of new toys that have never been played with! So I was always able to find them more than what they needed in an affordable way. You can find name brands thrifting too! But it takes some searching sometimes.

In my personal opinion I would prefer one single item worth $60 that I absolutely love and have been wanting, that’s good quality, ect. than a bunch of small thrifted items. but all kids are different I guess

I give you nothing but sincere credit…but I can’t even imagine. I mean, I guess I could see saving some money when the kiddies are young….but good luck when they are older. My daughter’s toothpaste cost me $12….lol

You are an awesome mom. I am really impressed with all the things that you found. I like to shop for goodies that are inexpensive. Also, my boys are grown up, but I three granddaughters now and I love looking for little things that fit their personality but are inexpensive and that they could use it and enjoy it. I love the scrapbook idea. I do that with my granddaughters and they are 45 and eight and they just love picking out their baby pictures and then choosing the ones they want choosing the paper that they wanted to mount on and then we buy stickers dollar tree has stickers that are so fun and whatever they’re interest are at the time that’s what I grab.😅😂
