Want is your favorite cut now after a couple years. A lot of people are saying to cut an X that's only a couple inches wide but it seems that sometimes the mushrooms struggle to push out of such a small hole.

For this particular mushroom I recommend that you do cut an x but do a little more than that. It appears that the more surface area is disturbed the more pins you will get with the pink oyster mushroom.

Nice work! Did you happen to check and see if second flush was consistent in most weight per cut?

Unfortunately I didn't take note, but after growing so many mushrooms since then, I know that moisture will play a big factor in the size of your second flush. Usually blocks get dry from the first grow because the mushrooms use up the blocks moisture, and it will have been in the grow room for longer until its second flush. All I can say is that higher humidity and not letting your blocks get to dry will give you the best second or 3rd flushes. Anywhere from 0.5lb to 1lb or more if done right. This is off a 10 pound Block.

Do you have fans blowing air in ans pulling out in your tent? Also do you have to vacuumed it everyday from condensation?

Moisture on floor is what you'll want, I had a hrv unite supplying filtered air from outside into the back room of the house, then I had only 1 exaust fan pulling air outside from the tent, so the tent would stay negative pressure. When I had not enough oxygen I'd pump air in and then have air sucking out. But it's best to keep thing under negative pressure for spore purposes.

What light cycle do you use? 12/12?
@mountainviewmushrooms712 жыл бұрын
Yes, that seems to work just fine and saves electricity, I had 2 grow rooms at the time, one was always on since I didn't have another timmer. But I noticed always on and half on half off didn't make a diffrence in my situation.
