Nice work brotha! I just came across your channel, in hopes of finding resources online for starting up a mushroom business. I’m also 19 years old, and want to start with a small mushroom business, and over time expand it into something bigger. I’m Indigenous to Washington state and in my tribal community (Quinault) there isn’t much opportunity or business near us. I’ve recently gotten interested in mushrooms and heard that it doesn’t cost much to startup and if done properly, it can grow pretty quickly. You give me hope and inspire me to do something similar as you, but over here on the west coast, in hopes of bringing business to my community. Thank you, I will be looking forward to more content and will be a regular follower of yours 🙏🏽

Wow that's amazing, I wish you the best! If you have any questions email me hunters7629@gmail.com. Learn to love growing and eating mushrooms then you'll be ready to sell! Tip: don't spend much learn how things work and scrap around for free materials or cheap stuff. Mushrooms don't care how pretty your setup is! Best of luck friend!

Wow. Your stuff has really inspired me. A video on the buisness side would be cool. Talking about all the permits and licenses you need and how much you make?

Lots of videos in pipeline😉, working on something big for farmers then I'll be back to KZbin

Do you do any marketing to inform people of your stand, or do you just rely on them seeing it as they drive by? How would you go about finding a good spot for a roadside farm stand?
@mountainviewmushrooms717 ай бұрын
Yes I just put up signs and let people come and go as they please. It's worked pretty well on busy days. If I didn't have that corner I would try to talk to people that are in my circle and get to know some people with land that have roadside corners. Best of luck friend

Love the video and the interactions. Do you ever tell people about the health benefits or more info about the fungi?
@mountainviewmushrooms71 Жыл бұрын
Oh yes that's a great point. I get a lot of people that ask what are the different benefits of each different mushroom so I'm certainly educated and learning more in that aspect of things. But yes many people ask and I do bring up there health benefits as a selling point.

Awesome stuff man, I'm curious how you went about setting up your farm stand. Do you have a deal setup with whoever owns the land? Would love to set one up myself, simply unsure of how to figure out who owns the land I have in mind. Appreciate the content!
@mountainviewmushrooms71 Жыл бұрын
Yea I have a deal with the farm I work on. You'll likely have to ask people and see if you can strike a deal with he owner. Best of luck!
