Man, I know this is 2 years old, but still giving my LIKE! I have a 85 that you have basically "taught" me how to paint myself! Got it painted a week ago, and thanks to SprayWay, it looks damn good, if I say so myself. Definitely not a SprayWay paint job, but I used them SprayWay techniques! I've tried painting 2 other cars of mine before - watching your videos put me on another level - and you showing us the tools/supplies made it all worthwhile. Been doing bodywork since February, in between life, but now I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, I need some more tips on cutting and buffing.

Thanks to your videos, I took the plunge and painted my own car. Many challenges. This video on cut and buff on a budget is perfect. I bought and tried a DA and just could not get the shine back. Switching to a rotary with Mequiars was the ticket. Who;d of thought they can purchase all they need to cut and buff from Harbor Freight. Used their rotary, wool, and foam pads, they even sell the Meg cut and polish compounds. Thank you again!! Pretty stoked to be finishing up my project. Im no pro like yourself, but Ive learned alot with this project. Cant wait to get back out to the drag srip with a new look!! Thank You!!!

A friend had a Chevy tailgate that he let me use to practice on, plus he had some leftover paint and clear that he gave me. I followed your instructions and it came out beautiful, just some trash though. I'm going to harbor freight and buy me a starter buffer tomorrow. Where did you get the sand paper you're using? Plus, give me the part numbers of those buffing pads. Thanks man, this is exciting. It's true you can teach and old dog new tricks. Almost 72, still going strong.
