HOW TO CUT AND SEW A HIGH WAIST PALAZZO TROUSER // PANTS // CUTTING AND STITCHING // SIDE ZIPPER

Hi everyone, welcome back! In this video I will be showing you how to draft and sew a palazzo trouser. For the pattern I included my thigh because I wanted the opening of the palazzo to start from the thigh down to the ankle.
Watch till the end. This palazzo is not the very wide type.

Thanks for sharing. Nice job. Pls when sewing trouser, do we join the outseam first or the inseam? I usually join my inseam before the outseam but my trousers left leg keep dragging towards the inseam after sewing. Pls enlighten me on this. Thanks

I recommend you join the outseam first but then again it also depends on how you cut the trouser.

Watch my video on how i drafted a female pant and take note of the proportion on how i added seam allowance to the front and back. If you do it that way, i guarrantee you won't have a problem with your outseam dragging inwards.

Is there need for me to put the zipper if l am using stretchy fabric. Please respond

It depends on how stretchy your fabric is. If it's a bodycon type of stretch, the zipper won't be necesaary.

Hello lovely video so since it a high waist if my crotch is 10 will it still be 10 for this same highwaistv

Yea. Your waist band won't be taken from your crotch length. By the time you add a 2inch waist band to it, or how ever wide you want the waistband to be, there you have your high waist. Eg crotch 10 + 2inch waist band= 12inch.
