This video is helpful for beginners looking for simple cut flower tips for maximum vase-life and rebloom. At this point, I have been at this for several more weeks and have added what I've learned about my original perceptions of "how to cut" in text at the lower edge of the video.
The bed-digging is finally completed in this video, making finishing the paths our final step to finishing the garden.
I address how I handled Japanese beetles in the garden this year. They are a huge problem and I found that Neem oil did not work well for me (I was also unwilling to use harsher chemicals). Thus, picking them off was the best course of action. It did take quite a bit of dedication, but after about two weeks, they were almost non-existent and my flowers were super healthy.
