Nice job. We never used an orbital sander we used, mostly, a 1 1/8 " Makita belt sander or a 4" Makita belt sander. Sometimes we finished with a cork belt for additional shine.

Same! We use all of them too

I have a shop and do the same work as you do. It’s awesome to see other glazers and the techniques they use. Keep it going buddy!

I’ve done glass work my whole life and none of what you just did is easy lol. It takes serious practice to cut 3/8 glass plus to shape and polish that good takes time. Great job 👍

Hi Alex, what’s the best way to cut out 1/8” of glass on a double pane? Can I just grind it or sand it? Thanks bro, your videos are more helpful than any on here.
@AlexRubioRQualityGlass2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! And an 1/8 of an inch u can sand it but I’ve cut that off and just grab your glass plyers and break it off and with a Utility knife cut some of that seal and it should break off it’s not the easiest but it can be done
@jrlipse2 жыл бұрын
@@AlexRubioRQualityGlass we’re replacing a broken dual pane with an exact same brand, but for some reason the glass is an 1/8” too wide. I will try to take some of the black hard rubber off and use glass pliers. Thanks Alex!
