Oh, yes, I’d also love to see a tutorial of the rabbit moon or a similar project. Just got my first kiln and I’m itching to get started. I have been a long-time subscriber but your channel came back into my feed b/c of your video where you show us how to prep kiln molds.

Very nice! Both the rabbits at the start and the perfect cut at the end. I see from your bandage that both of us have been working on our digits also! LOL! This past week the table saw kicked a board back at me, ripped the tips of 2 fingers and thumb off including chunks of finger nails. I bandaged up and kept on working, but even at that I truly had what the British call a bloody mess! 😄😄😄 The pain is much diminished now, so things aren't all bad! LOL!

Oh bless. You win on the injury stakes, mine was just a small glass cut. I've never liked table saws, scary things. Hope your digits soon heal.

@@FiredGlass It would be nice to see the rabbit bowl being made, THAT had to be a challenge! The moments of frustration could be edited out! LOL! Oftentimes, my most complex sculpting projects seemed like children, in my projects "infancy" they are just hard, uncomplicated work, my projects then reach their "adolescent" stage, very complicated, extreme caution needed to not damage many days and weeks of work, infuriating at times, then my projects enter the adult phase where they are so beguilingly lovely and precious, that it tears at me to send them on to the customer. I believe the Michelangelo referred to his projects as his children. Creating beautiful, difficult art projects is not merely a process, a job, it's that drive to make every project the best that it can be with no regard to how many hours/weeks,/ months needed to complete. In years past I have thought of it as "entering my artist cave" I dare not be disturbed by ringing phones, or people coming, progress is much better when i am alone at my workbench. And finally, after we pass on, we want a legacy of fine work to be remembered by. Thy will be done ON EARTH as it is IN HEAVEN.

Totally this. Project evolve over time and can increase in complexity and difficulty. The downside with KZbin is showing the passage of time. Some pieces that take weeks to complete because of the number of processes involved and the waiting time before the next stage can be started don't make good video.

@@FiredGlass yes, this afternoon while walking our bulldog, I was visualizing the challenge of cutting/sawing out those little rabbits. The, suddenly I realized that they can be made by pouring molten glass into molds instead of cutting??
