Hi, how to make road on terrain with auto cad 2D model? the model has been designed on auto cad, with bends, roads of different sizes, the model is connected at the beginning with the end point (not a straight road) . thanks very much !!
@XoioDe2 жыл бұрын
The process is quite similar with a few custom steps additional: You need to create a nice topology out of your 2d design, ideally with a neat quadbased geometry. Then you need to manually adjust the road to the terrain - you probably should have some height data anyhow, right? I would pick a section, turn on smooth edit and tweak the road From then it's the same process as in the video, no? Good luck!

Damn this is interesting. The blending nodes though.... doesn't work well for me . It work at first but after i redo this step again...... it just doesn't blend. Vector color + output = sharp as hell. Even without the outut...... used the curve in blend node still doesn't work....... unless i actually use gradient ramp etc than it shows........ sigh......

Very useful lesson! In the video you make a triangular mesh, but on the preview it is a rectangular (i mean a red wireframe). How can i reach that result? I really want a quad topology )

Thank you so much for your tutorials. I subscribed on you. However, I would like to ask you is it possible to produce a tutorial: how do you do the red effect on your terrain in photoshop and how do you do animation? I guess for many viewers will be interesting above-mentioned questions. Studying on architecture faculty, I want to make a presentation like you. Thanks again for everything! Best of wishes!

Dear Muhammadjon: Depends on the render-engine you are using, but most of them should be able to do it: You basically just need a wireframe output - in Vray it is called VrayEdgeTexture, if I remember right. You can render that out in the same go, if you add a render element called Vray ExtraTex and then put in the edge texture. The rest has to be done in Postproduction (Screen Edge on Top...)

@@XoioDe Thank you so much Dear Xoio, for your feedback. I understood very well. As I heard in Corona renderer also exists edge texture. I will check all of them
