this tutorial is great! my bangs are incredibly long. i grew them out a few years ago and have barely cut them since. now they are down past my chin! i wear my bangs to the side but now they are just getting too long and i can't ever make them look nice. I love your hair and i wonder if I tried this technique, if it would work on my ridiculously long bangs?

You won't have the split ends if you make your hair wet. That's the reason your hair gets damaged. Don't slice it when it's dry!!

lol I just watched another video where a girl said don't cut hair when it's dry because it causes split ends. My hair stylist cuts my hair when it's dry, so I agree with you about not cutting wet hair!:)

Do you think side swept bangs are more recommended for people who have a "higher forehead" and more "oval shaped face" rather than "rounded or heart shaped faces"? That's what my parents use to always say whenever I ask them, if I would look good in side swept bangs (I'm talking about the style that's very similar to your's in this video). I don't have as high of a forehead as your's (below moderate?! lol) so I'm a little worried that I might, in end regret the finished look.

Super cute! Great tutorial! I just had to cut bangs due to chemo so I'm NOT happy with mine! Well I got them to Short too so that's NOT helping me at all. I want my bangs to the side like yours though but they aren't long enough yet. They are to the bridge of my nose tho so shouldn't they be long enough? Maybe its cuz I only have a thin layer they r not cut far back at all. I'm scared to do that cuz I just want them grown out. Thanks for the vid I subd u! If u think of anything let me know plz?

hair razors in the hair industry are found to be the best way of cutting hair better than scissors, if the razor is causing split ends its not sharp enough and means its time to buy a new 1, and razors are meant to be used on wet hair. when you learn that its only used on wet hair you never get told why :P i would say why but no 1 ever gets told. and razors are used for shatterd looks

D': i cant cut my own bangs cause i keep cutting and cutting even if i know i shouldnt. Once it ended up almost like a cleopatra haircut (with 1 side almost 2 the hair line) and i had 2 wear it with a head band 4 almost 7 months... :(

i luv your bangs its my fav style the only thing i hate is they take alot of the back hair to the front to cut bangs andd that makes a big opening in the middle. why is it they cant cut only beside the forehead cuz its the front area for bangs not take from the hair big middle? because when u put your hair in a pony tail it looks not right bangs and long hair from the back...bangs should be only to the front not with the hair to the back.

you can use scissors to cut the hair, but try not to completely close the shears when you cut, rock the cutting shears down the path of your hair bangs.
