Now with streaming just buy a $25-$40 Roku either per tv or just switch between TV's and you're golden. To me besides the extra box fees. Was the extra $30-$70 in electric a month the DVRs used.

How about if you don't have an option to put an antenna in a window? Without getting into layouts and such, my TV is set up across a small living room from a large window. Can I buy an antenna that stays near the TV and works?

We are cutting the cord because a year ago we updated to fiber optics and now we get very little tv service.

How much are you paying for internet? That needs to be included in your cost, so you are saving less than $90 per month.

@stevena2230 No, it doesn't need to be included because I had the internet anyway. Cable cost me $165. Internet was another $80. Now, Hulu + LiveTV costs me $75. Internet is another $80. I save $90/mo. Basic math. If I had to pay more for internet, I would include the extra cost. When I say that cable TV cost me $165/mo, I mean that cable TV alone cost me $165/mo.

@@stevena2230 Great point! I think a lot of people will be paying for internet already, but you do need enough speed to support whatever resolution you need. In my area, Xfinity is 100mbps for about $35/month.

I totally cut the cord before I moved out to Eastern Europe. No diff out here ... we pay only for internet ...... Kodi and apps do the rest. Stops you channel surfing. Now we pay roughly $11/month .... savings spent on vodka and wine.

After I signed up for live KZbin tv for $52 a month for first 4 months they cut me off then charging me $72.99 per month that’s not good at all

In what world are you living in? Premium streaming has never been $50. In fact a lot of them are hundred dollars. KZbin TV is $72.99. If you're going to make videos get them right.
