This tutorial is simply brilliant, Katie! I have never seen anything like it. You are a genius to incorporate your wonderful illustrations. It couldn't be more clear than this. I'm in awe here.

The Scandinavians steek also the arm holes, using the sewing mashine. I was quite shocked reading this but seeing your work now, does it makes sense to me. What a wonderful easy way to do a cardigan. 🤗 Thank you

I have seen a lot of tutorials and this one is the best, clear in every steep. The illustrations do the work very easy for a beginner like me. Thank you for your effort.

You know, I've steeked items plenty of times before, and I'm pretty confident in my steeking skills. I've watched other videos and read tutorials by many different knitters, including some very well known ones. And the information you give here is absolutely consistent with all the information I've come across before. That said, this is by far the most clear, easy to follow, and concise tutorial for steeking I've ever come across. It's brilliant. You obviously not only have a talent for illustration and knitwear design, but for communication as well. This is -so- well done. Thank you :) Take care and best wishes ~ Alyssa

Thank you for this very clear tutorial. I watched another person’s tutorial and tried it unsuccessfully on my swatch. I then watched your video and tried again…SUCCESS. My daughter will be so pleased as I’ve promised to knit her a colourwork vest top with armhole and neck steeks. I now feel a lot happier about this technique. 😊

I am not a huge cardigan fan, but I am beyond impressed with your design work Katie. This tutorial is fantastic too. The button band is simply perfect and looks very professional and really makes such a big difference to the finish product. It is the best cardy I have seen hands down on any podcast. I hope to one day make it as you have really demystified steeking. As Mies van der Rohe said "God is in the details".
