WHATS YOUR WATER SOURCE? MUNICIPAL,WELL,RAINWATER? I HAVE MANY FISH TANKS BUT IN THE HOBBY WE USE WATER CONDITIONER TO REMOVE CHLORINE AND OTHER TOXINS HAMRFUL TO THE FISH, WHICH IS NOT GOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

I use feeder goldfish in mine to cycle them. The survivors then live out their natural lives eating expensive aquaculture food, and watching their tank mates be harvested year after year haha. The last of my original cyling fish died at the age of 6, and was 25cm long.
